Using the Programmable (DSS) Keys
The programmable keys can be assigned to directly access other stations, station groups, trunks, trunk groups, or
system features. Features keys can be programmed similarly to the way they are programmed in the Coral DKT-
2000 series keysets. (See the DKT and DST User Manual, CN# 7244-7181802. See also the Attendant Console
User’s Guide, CN# 7244-7199802 for full programming instructions.)

Use this feature to enable programming the DSS keys.
1.
Press

Press the DSS button you want to program.

Dial the numbers on the keypad exactly as you would normally to enable the feature or to speed dial.
4.
Press the DSS key again to end.
Also, several dial commands, in a series, may be programmed into one DSS key - useful for one-button speed
dialing, voice response and voice mail system access, and other complex dialing patterns.
Making Calls
To place a call choose any one of the following options:

Lift the Handset and dial from the dial pad.
•
Press
S P K R
and begin dialing directly from the dial pad.
•
Begin dialing without lifting the handset. The Speaker is automatically activated.
•
Press
D I R
or
D I R
P R I V A T E
(with appropriate password). Press the contact name’s nearby softkey.
•
Press a programmed DSS key.
