Using the Favorites List
You can compile a Directory Favorites List (also known as the FDN – Frequently Dialed Number List), to be
automatically displayed on your GKT screen when pressing
D I R
. A Favorites list is usually created when you have a
very large Directory on your GKT. The Favorites List includes your frequently dialed numbers so that they are
readily accessible on your screen.
You decide which contacts should appear in the Favorites List as well as their location on the list. You can also, add
a Busy/Idle indicator for internal station contacts from the Favorites List - Edit option. Furthermore, you can move,
add and delete contacts from the Favorites List as needed. The contacts always remain in the general Directory.
The first time you add a contact to the Favorites List, the message
**EMPTY FAV LIST
** may appear. This
message indicates that the Favorites list is empty. After the first contact is added to the Favorites list, this list always
appears when entering the Directory function (i.e. when pressing
D I R
) or when a Coral Telephony feature requires a
destination number.
Also, use the Favorites List to add or remove Busy/Idle Indicators to system contact names.
The Favorites List can also be edited at your PC and then downloaded to the GKT (or uploaded to the PC for
backup) by using the GKT PC-Utilities Software Package (see the GKT PC-Utility Reference Manual Cat # 7244-
7143101).
