S E A R C H
Opens a search window on top of the active function (FEATURES, DIRECTORY,
Calendar, …) display. Enter character string from the alphanumeric keyboard.
Pressing
S E A R C H
E N T E R
(i.e., searching the null string) performs a search for
that string with the results appearing in alphabetical order. If the search results are
large enough to require more space than one screen can offer, use the Scroll Keys or
P G - U P
&
P G - D N
keys to see the entire query. If the search operation does not find
any matching strings, the message -
Item Not Found-
is temporarily displayed
and the Graphic Display is restored to the point prior to where the search was
initiated.
The simplest way to conduct a search is to simply enter characters on the GKT
keyboard. The search window will automatically appear with the character string
already entered. Press

to activate.
The other ways to conduct a search include:

the beginning of the words, even within word phrases,
