5.4 E L E C T R I C A L I N S TA L L AT I O N
When working in the iQ-Control Panel, there is a risk of death from electric shock from live connections.
Continuous voltage is present at the electrical terminals of the XRGI® system, even when the XRGI® system
is in standby mode. The electrical installation may only be carried out by a recognised specialist trade
company (electrician).
The P o w e r U n i t has a CEE socket on the back for the generator cable to the iQ-Control Panel. The Power Unit is fitted with
protective switches for the engine, RCDs and a grid monitoring relay for emergency shut-down in the iQ-Control Panel.

The following control lines and network cables are needed for communication between the iQ-Control Panel and the Power Unit.
The Q - H e a t D i s t r i b u t o r requires a separate 230V mains supply with a minimum 10A fuse (10A/250V AC socket). Q-Network ca-
bles (SFTP (CAT 6)) with RJ45 plugs are used as network cables, which are used to communicate with further Q-Network components.

The following electrical cables and components are required and not included in the delivery:
The i Q - C o n t r o l P a n e l needs a supply line with a 32A gL/gG (iQ10) or 63A gl/gG (iQ15/20). Each iQ-Control Panel needs its
own fuse with multi-module systems. The integration of a Load Sharer S into multiple module systems can prevent the simultaneous
start-up of several Power Units and regulate the start-up of the system. The common cable section to the iQ-Control Panels therefore
only needs to be designed downstream of the start-up current to a single XRGI® system.
