Inputs
I1 and I2: You assign a time value at I1 and I2, depending on the switch
function of the relay.
You can assign the following operands to function block inputs I1 and I2:
• Constant.
• Markers MD, MW, MB.
• Analog inputs IA01 to IA04:
• IA01: Terminal I7.
• IA02: Terminal I8.
• IA03: Terminal I11.
• IA04: Terminal I12.
• Analog output QA01.
• Output

Output
QV: Output QV supplies the currently elapsed time. You can assign the
following operands:
• Analog output QA01.
• Markers MD, MW, MB.
Retention
Timing relays can be run with retentive actual values. The number of
retentive timing relays can be selected in the SYSTEM RETENTION menu.
If a timing relay is retentive, the actual value is retained when the operating
mode is changed from RUN to STOP and when the power supply is switched
off.
If easy800 is started in RUN operating mode, the timing relay operates with
the retentively saved actual value. The state of the trigger pulse must
correspond to the function of the timing relay.
• Status 1 with:
• On-delayed.
• Single pulse.
• Flashing.
• Status 0 with:
• Off-delayed.
Function of the function block
The relay is started via the trigger coil T…EN and can be selectively reset via
the reset coil T…RE. The third coil T..ST terminates the run down of the
actual time.
