COMPASS INSTALLATION MANUAL

Install Uprights

Uprights are provided in pairs to support back panels, 

shelves, and overhead compartments. Uprights attach 

to the tops of 29 inch legs and come in four heights: 

12, 16, 20, and 36 inches.
The modular height refers to the part of the upright 

exposed above the leg, and does not include the base 

that inserts into the top of the leg.

Complete this procedure to install uprights.

NOTICE

Note:

 If wire way covers are attached to legs and 

uprights, remove them before continuing. Do 

not install wire way covers until the end of the 

installation.

1.   Orient the upright to match the leg, with the wire 

way channel facing inward. Note that both legs 

and uprights have left and right versions. Insert 

the bottom of the upright into the top of the leg.
