WARNING:

Use air inlet water filters with the low-flow microblender. Replace them in accordance with the 
manufacturer recommendation. Failure to do so could result in patient injury or equipment 
damage.

WARNING:

Monitor the concentration of oxygen provided and the partial pressure of oxygen in the patient 
blood (PaO

2

). Failure to do so could result in patient injury.

WARNING:

If the blender option is included, confirm that the oxygen/air blender control of the blended gas 
supply module is correctly set before use. Failure to do so could result in patient injury.

WARNING:

Should any of the control knobs on the resuscitation module or the blender come loose for any 
reason, do not attempt to refasten them. The calibration of these controls depends on the 
position of the knob on the shaft. If knobs come loose, qualified service personnel must 
calibrate the unit. Failure to do so could result in patient injury or equipment damage.

Resuscitation Precautions (Common to All Modules)

WARNING:

Only qualified clinical personnel must use the optional resuscitation module. Before using the 
equipment, read the instructions. Failure to do so could result in patient injury.

WARNING:

Always operate the system with medical-grade gases. Failure to do so could result in patient 
injury or equipment damage.

WARNING:

Before use, confirm that the patient circuit contains all the parts needed. Failure to do so could 
result in patient injury.

WARNING:

Always monitor O2 concentration levels if the oxygen supplied to the device is less than 100% 
oxygen. The blender is calibrated using 100% oxygen. Measure O2 concentration levels from 
the oxygen supply with a calibrated oxygen analyzer. Oxygen supplied to the device at levels 
less than 100% may lower the oxygen concentration to less than the level set on the device. 
Patient injury could occur.
