You can receive mail and Messages R/F while i-

ppli is launching or running. i-

ppli will continue and the icon “

(pink)”,

“

(yellow)” or “

(yellow)” will be displayed. To check mail or messages you have received, close i-

ppli or use the Multitask

function.

While software is running, any melody will be played at the volume set for “Phone” of “Ring volume”. However, melodies are not

played during a call.

●

If a call comes in while i-

ppli is running, i-

ppli will be interrupted temporarily. The i-

ppli display returns when you end the call.

●

With some software you can use the Web To function and the Phone To/AV Phone To function from i-

ppli. However, you cannot use

the Web To function from the i-

ppli Stand-by display.

●

If i-motion (image and sound data) is played back while i-

ppli is running, see page 353 for operation instructions. The i-

ppli display

returns when you cancel playback.

●

If the camera is launched from i-

ppli, the images taken are not saved with ordinary images, but are saved as part of i-

ppli for its

usage.

●

You can scan the QR codes and JAN codes from i-

ppli using the camera. The scanned data is saved and used by the software.

●

ppli may not be displayed correctly.

ppli launch, the confirmation display might appear asking whether to upgrade the software to the latest one. Select “YES” and

to upgrade the software. (See page 315)

Some programs of i-

ppli software save the various information running under i-

ppli when you finish it. Therefore, the information

might not be saved if the battery alarm sounds or the battery pack is removed while i-

ppli is running. If the battery level indicates

ppli in accordance with the instructions from each software.

You cannot save some software programs that launches immediately from sites by the i-

ppli To function.
