9.29 Changing the Main Power Fuses

1. Press the 

POWER

 button on the front of the TC for 2 seconds to turn off the 

power.

2. Disconnect the main power cord from both its source and from the TC rear 

panel.

3. The fuse cartridge is located next to the main power switch (see 

Figure 9-48

). 

Use a small screwdriver to remove the fuse cartridge.

4. Replace the two fuses with new 2 A IEC 60127-2 time lag fuses 

(P/N 954776). Dionex recommends always replacing 

both

 fuses. 

5. Reinstall the fuse cartridge.

6. Reconnect the main power cord and turn on the power.

HIGH VOLTAGE—Disconnect the main power cord from its source and
also from the rear panel of the TC.
