You can monitor the progress of an extraction on the
STATUS
screen (a
MAIN
screen option). Operating parameters are updated in real time. Figure 2-5
illustrates a typical
STATUS
screen. Table 2-1 describes the screen parameters.

Parameter
Description
STATUS
The method step in progress, if any, or the current
system status. If the latter is indicated, the
STATUS
field
will display one of the following descriptions: Initialize,
Idle, Load, Fill, Preheat, Heat, Oven Wait, Oven Ready,
Static, Flush, Purge, Relief, Unload, Rinse, or Abort. If
the status is Static or Flush, the cycle number is
indicated.
METHOD
The name or number of the current method.
VOL
The approximate volume of solvent (in mL) delivered
by the pump since the method started running.
PRESSURE
The current pressure reading. Select the unit of measure
on the
SETUP
screen (see Section C.1.3).
TEMP
The temperature specified in the method.
TIME
Elapsed time (in minutes and seconds) since the method
started running.
