 Geo Brick Drive User Manual 

Drive Structure and Troubleshooting 

 276 

Reloading PMAC firmware 

The following steps ensure proper firmware reload/upgrade. 
 

Step1:

  Power up the unit while holding the BOOT SW switch down. 

 

Step2:

  Release the BOOT SW switch approximately 2-3 seconds after power-up. 

 

Step3:

  Launch the Pewin32Pro2. 

Run the PMAC Devices window under Setup > Force All Windows To Device Number. 
Click Test for the corresponding communication method. 
Click ok for message “The PMAC is in Boostrap Mode”
