Removing and Installing Parts

161

Replacing the Chassis Fan

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 97.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on
page 99).

Slide the chassis fan in place towards the back of the computer.

Connect the chassis fan cable to the system board (see "System Board
Components" on page 102).

Tighten the four screws to secure the chassis fan.

Replace the computer cover (see "Replacing the Computer Cover" on
page 164).
