Removing and Installing Parts

Installing a Hard Drive

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 97.

Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on
page 99).

Check the documentation for the drive to verify that it is configured for
your computer.

Slide the hard drive into the hard drive bay.

Align the slots in the hard drive with the guides in the hard drive bay.

Replace and tighten the four screws to secure the hard drive.

Connect the power and data cables to the drive.
