At the takeoff location, hold the aircraft by the right wing with your right hand (or hold the aircraft
by the left wing with your left hand).
CAUTION
Make sure the propeller is clear from objects or body parts at all times during the takeoff procedure.

Press the
Confirm
button on the aircraft for a few seconds until the motor beeps.
The motor is initialized, propellers stay still,
TAKE OFF
LED is blinking green rapidly.
Note
As a safety measure, if you do not proceed to next step in 15 seconds, the motor will automatically
deactivate. You can also manually deactivate the motor by using the ABORT button on
Delair Flight
Deck
. If the motor was deactivated (automatically or manually) it may be initialized again as per text
above.

Hold the aircraft horizontally and against the wind, and make sure your take-off direction is free
of obstacles (adjust if necessary). Then press the
Confirm
button again (short push). The elevons
move up indicating the aircraft is ready for takeoff. The
TAKE OFF
LED is steady green (if elevons
does not move or
TAKE OFF
LED is blinking red, please contact support).
Tilt the aircraft with its nose up at an upwards angle of 30°. After 1.5 seconds, the motor runs at
full speed.
Note
To abort the takeoff and stop the motor, hold the aircraft vertically with its nose pointing upwards for
1 second or press the
Confirm
button. If takeoff was aborted you may resume and re-initiate takeoff
without starting over the entire procedure.

Throw the aircraft in a forward and upward motion.
Note
Avoid to give the aircraft a rotating motion while throwing.
The UX11 aircraft takes off.
