User Manual UX11
• To set the
altitude offset
(see note below) for the landing, Choose an
altitude offset
either
manually or using the DEM.
• Once done, close the menu and make sure to upload the flight plan again (changes are
only taken into account when flight plan is sent again).
Note
By default, the system
reference altitude
is set to the altitude of the point where the aircraft is
powered up (which is not the
Delair Link
altitude or takeoff altitude).
Should the landing altitude differ from the
reference altitude
(for instance when the landing point
is far from the aircraft power up point), an
altitude offset
must be defined by the user. The
altitude
offset
can be set either manually by the operator or automatically based on a digital elevation model
(DEM).
WARNING: The applied
altitude offset
must be accurate (within 5 m from reality). Any inaccurate offset
manually entered might cause a failed landing.
There is no maximum
altitude offset
. In case of doubt, please choose an alternate landing zone, with
little or no offset.

Stand up and hold the aircraft horizontally at approximately 1.5 m above the ground. Make sure
the height sensor is unobstructed.
7
To trigger the Pitot test, place your thumb on the air intake of the Pitot tube in order to increase
the air pressure inside the tube. When sufficient air pressure is detected inside the tube, the
elevons start moving.
When the Pitot tube test is successful the tablet displays a green check mark.
8
The elevons move up and down in an auto test. Make sure the movement is smooth and
unobstructed.
9
Once elevons are back in position, verify that each elevon is properly aligned with its wing. If the
elevons is not well aligned, tap the
Trim
button
When all auto checks are successfully completed, the
Checklist
LED glows solid green.

In cases where the
Checklist
LED does not glows solid green, a failure reason is displayed on the
