9.5 CLU COM | ONLINE | CHARGE CONTROLLER | ENERGY METER (IN WALLBOX)
Installing an online CLU COM with energy meters in the charging stations will require two
buses. Two separate 3-wire buses must be installed, but an 8-wire cable can also be used
for both the buses. The wires between the USB interfaces and the bus cable must be
joined in a terminal block connector, preferably WAGO.
If a payment solution is provided, pay per minute the vehicle is connected, pay per
transaction and pay per kilowatt hour (kWh) is possible.
9.6 CLU COM | ONLINE | CHARGE CONTROLLER | ENERGY METER (IN DISTRIBUTION BOARD)
Installing an online CLU COM with energy meters in the distribution board will require two
buses from the CLU:
1. A 3-wire bus connected in daisy chain between the energy meters
2. A 3-wire bus connected to the “Control/RFID” connectors inside each charging station
The wires between the USB interface and the bus cable to the controller/RFID bus must
be joined in a terminal block connector, preferably WAGO.
If a payment solution is provided, pay per minute the vehicle is connected, pay per
transaction and pay per kilowatt hour (kWh) is possible.
