8. Phase connection pattern
DEFA recommends phase rotation in the distributed circuits, one step per charge point,
as shown in the example installation diagrams. By using a connection pattern with phase
rotation, the system ensures an even load distribution among the phases.
Phase rotation is important for single-phase charging, and for three-phase charging when
single-phase vehicles are connected. PE-wiring is intentionally not shown in the installation
diagrams.
