MODEM
The modem has one green
LED status indicator. The LED
indicates both power and ongoing
operations. When powering up, the
green LED will flash every three
second. When a connection is
active, the modem will flash two
times with a short period off. The
sequence will repeat itself while
the connection is active.
1. No lights
• Check the power supply and make sure the modem is supplied with 12V DC LVPS.
2. Status LED is flashing only single green
• Check power to the CLU. The CLU initiates the communication.
• Make sure the communication cable is properly connected to the CLU and to the
modem.
• Check the 2G reception at the location.
• Turn the power to CLU and modem off for 30 seconds, then turn the power back on.
If the above actions do not fix the problem, contact DEFA support. The modem may be
defective.
