9.7 COMBINING 1ST AND 2ND GENERATION WALLBOXES IN THE SAME NETWORK
For retrofitting of first-generation wallboxes in a new facility, or new wallboxes in an existing
facility with first generation wallboxes, the bus connection will become a combination of
RJ12 connectors and push insert clamps. Pin 3 and 4 from the RJ12 connector must be a
twisted pair as shown in the figure below.
