venire (maschere facciali, guanti, scarpe chiuse, grem-
biuli ecc.).
ATTENZIONE: prima dell’impiego della pompa ac-
certarsi che il fluido da pompare sia compatibile
con i materiali costruttivi: PERICOLO DI CORRO-
SIONI, FUORIUSCITE DEL PRODOTTO E/O ESPLOSIONI
DOVUTE A REAZIONI CHIMICHE.
Per l’installazione e l’impiego rispettare le seguenti precau-
zioni generali:
- controllare che la pompa sia invasata e il livello sia al di so-
pra del livello minimo (almeno 0,5m);
- controllare che la pompa sia installata in verticale e che la
bocca di aspirazione risulti ad almeno 100mm dal fondo della
vasca;
- controllare che la pompa sia staffata in modo fisso mediante
idonei bulloni sugli appositi fori previsti sulla piastra;
- controllare che nel fluido non vi siano o non vi possano giun-
gere parti solide;
- non ci siano restrizioni sull’aspirazione della pompa per
evitare fenomeni rispettivamente di cavitazione e sforzo del
motore elettrico;
- controllare che le tubazioni di collegamento siano idonee e
resistenti e che la pompa non ne subisca il peso;
- se la pompa deve rimanere inattiva per lunghi periodi, pulirla
accuratamente facendo circolare un fluido detergente (non in-
fiammabile) compatibile con i materiali della pompa;
- se la pompa deve essere spenta per lunghi periodi è op-
portuno far circolare opportunamente acqua pulita per alcuni
minuti per evitare il rischio di incrostazioni;
- proteggere sempre la pompa da possibili urti provocati ac-
cidentalmente da mezzi in movimento o materiali contundenti
che possono danneggiarla e/o reagire al contatto;
- provvedere all’installazione di un riparo di protezione che
impedisca il contatto anche accidentale con il giunto di tra-
smissione quando la pompa è sotto tensione;
- provvedere ad un adeguato riparo che contenga e convogli
in vasca eventuali fuoriuscite di prodotto causate da eccessi-
va usura e/o negligenza di manutenzione;
- controllare che sul fondo della vasca non vi siano morchie o
depositi che possono ostruire l’aspirazione.
ATTENZIONE: è VIETATO il funzionamento a sec-
co della pompa IM. Il funzionamento a secco, oltre
che danneggiare la boccola ceramica, provoca la
fusione degli elementi in attrito radente ed il conseguen-
te, possibile, incendio.
ATTENZIONE: è vietato l’impiego della pompa per
installazione autoadescante; la bocca di aspira-
zione della pompa deve sempre risultare immersa
lontano da vortici o turbolenze che causerebbero l’inglo-
bazione di aria ed il danneggiamento della boccola cera-
mica interna.
ATTENZIONE: in caso di impiego per il pompag-
gio di fluidi aggressivi, tossici o pericolosi per la
salute bisogna installare sulla pompa un’adegua-
ta protezione per il contenimento del prodotto in caso di
fuoriuscita dovuta ad anomalia: PERICOLO DI INQUINA-
MENTO, CONTAMINAZIONE, LESIONI E/O MORTE.
ATTENZIONE: è vietato l’uso della pompa con flu-
idi non compatibili con i materiali dei componenti
o in ambiente con presenza di fluidi non compa-
tibili.

PRESCRIZIONI DI SICUREZZA

WARNING: before using the pump, ensure that the
fluid to be pumped is compatible with the manu ac-
turing materials: CORROSION, LEAKAGE AND/OR
EXPLOSION HAZARDS DUE TO CHEMICAL REACTIONS.
For the installation and use, take the following precautions:
- check that the pump is flooded and the level is at least 0,5m
higher than the minimum level;
- check that the pump has been installed in a vertical position
and the the suction inlet is at least 100 mm. from the bottom
of the tank;
- check that the pump has been fixed with brackets using
suitable bolting in the appropriate holes provided on the plate;
- check that the fluid is free from solid parts and ensure that no
solid parts can enter the fluid.
- Check that there are no restrictions affecting the pump suction,
thus avoiding cavitations and electrical motor strain;
- Check that the connecting pipes are suitable and resistant
and that the pump is not burdened by their weight;
- If the pump is to be inactive for long periods, clean it thor-
oughly with a detergent fluid (non-flammable) compatible with
the pump materials;
- if the pump is to be spent for a long time, it is recommended
to flush the circuit with clean water for a few minutes to avoid
incrustations;
- Always protect the pump from possible accidental knocks
caused by moving objects or other blunt materials that could
damage and/or cause a reaction on contact;
- install a guard to prevent any contact with the transmission
joint, even accidental, when the pump is energized;
- provide a suitable guard that will contain any leakage, con-
veying it to a tank, caused by excessive use and/or negligent
maintenance;
- check that there is no dirt or deposits on the bottom of the
tank that could obstruct suction.
WARNING: It is FORBIDDEN to expose an IM pump
to dry working conditions; this could damage the
ceramic bushing, cause the fusion of elements
exposed to horizontal friction and possibly cause a fire.
WARNING: it is FORBIDDEN to use the pump for
self priming installation; the suction inlet must
always be immersed and away from vortexes or
turbulence that could cause air retention and damage the
WARNING: when pumping aggressive, toxic or
hazardous fluids, the pump must have an appro-
priate protective device to contain the product in
the event of leakage caused by an anomaly: POLLUTION,
CONTAMINATION, INJURY AND/OR DEATH HAZARD.
WARNING: It is forbidden to use the pump with
fluids that are incompatible with the components
materials or in an environment containing non-
compatible fluids.
