Setting price revision - special price

If the programming function

25 SPECIAL PRICE

is enabled, the DSP500 Scale offers the

possibility to use the PLU, keeping the stored information but modifying price when the label is to
be printed, or adding a new price to the receipt.

The price revision must be enabled for each PLU, and the minimum allowed price must be set. In
normal scale operation the special price option can be invoked with <

Setting discounts

It is also possible to set a fixed discount percentage on the PLU price. The discount message and
the percentage will be printed on the receipt as well.

Beyond this, a PLU unit price can be set to 3 different amounts, with each amount being
automatically used if weight of quantity is above one of two thresholds, thus providing
“weight/quantity-based” discount capabilities. The thresholds can be specified for each PLU now.
