Setting ageing and due dates
For each PLU, DSP 500 scale allows setting two different dates:
•
DATE 1
, used as date following
TO BE SOLD WITHIN
.., in the pre-set label layouts 1 to 10
•
DATE 2
, used in user-programmable label layouts 11 to 20, as date following
EAT WITHIN
...,
or specifying product ageing, or any other required date. Obviously,
DATE 1
can be used in
user-programmable layouts too.
Both the above dates are expressed by number of days to be summed to the current date and can
also be given negative values, if needed.
Start by programming date 1, as follows:

where:
dddd
= days to be counted for date 1 (starting from the date of label issue)
Type in the number of days for date 1. The < SEL > key allows to toggle between positive and
negative date values. Confirm by pressing <ENTER> .
Then program date 2, as follows:

D A T E 2 < 0 ÷ 9 9 9 9 > d d d d
where:
dddd = days to be counted for date 2 (starting from the date of label issue)
Type in the number of days for date 2. The < SEL > key allows to toggle between positive and
negative date values.
