TCP/IP Toolbox

The TCP/IP Toolbox identifies workstations with the same IP address, discovers the
location of communication failures and identifies workstation or port accessibility and
location. Other tests help you plan subnet addressing schemes and facilitate the
configuration of routers and other devices in the field.

To access the different tab screens, click the desired tab.

TCP/IP Ping

Identifies workstations, servers, gateways and other communications paths.

1. Connect one end of cable to the

Network Jack

of the M.A.CH.10/100 and the other

end to the network segment that you want to test.

2. To access the Ping tab, select

TCP/IP

under the

Tools

menu or click the

icon.

The IP Toolbox screen appears.

3. Click

Ping

. The Ping property tab screen appears.
