4.62 Climate Talk Communication System Combination Error 

(Before Initial Setting for Communication Completes)

Method of Error 
Detection

Detects the type of the devices constituted in Climate Talk Communication.

Error Decision 
Conditions

The error decision is made when any of the following conditions is established before elapsing 4 
minutes after the power is turned on.

„

Two or more gas furnaces are detected.

„

Any unit other than the gas furnace is detected.

„

The initial setting for communication does not complete.

Supposed 
Causes

„

Connection of wrong devices

„

The power of the gas furnace is not turned on, or the power of the gas furnace is turned on after 
a certain period of time has been elapsed after the power of the CXTQ was turned on.

„

Disconnection of the communication wire between the CXTQ and the gas furnace

„

Two or more gas furnaces are connected to one CXTQ.

„

No gas furnace is connected.

Troubleshooting

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting 
connectors, or parts may be damaged.

The gas 

furnace and the 

CXTQ are turned on at 

the same time.
