2.9 Power
The BT1 Security Appliance uses standard 100-240 V AC 50/60 Hz. A proprietary high-performance
power supply provides power at peak efficiency. One power supply is supplied per appliance.
2.10 ECC Memory
The BT1 Security Appliance has four 240-pin DIMM sockets which support up to 32 GB ECC RDIMM
DDR3 1333 MHz speed. The memory must be installed and programmed into the system by ©2018

2.11 Storage
The BT1 Security Appliance can host four 2.5" SATA/SAS/SSD hard drives in front-mounted easily
removable drive caddies.
2.11.1 RAID
The BT1 Security Appliance has an LSI MegaRAID controller to support best in class RAID storage
configurations.
RAID configuration is performed within the System Configuration Utility, or using Linux based utilities.
The LSI MegaRAID device is an exceptionally capable SAS controller and is capable of supporting
RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60.
2.12 Density
The number of BT1 Security Appliances is only limited to available rack space. A 42RU rack could
host up to 84 appliances, depending upon the configuration and placement of PDUs, switches, etc.
Each 19 inch 1RU space hosts 2 BT1 Security Appliances through the use of the optional tray
accessory.
