3 BT1 Installation

3.23 Installing the Operating System

An operating system (OS) can be installed on any of the hard drives installed in the appliance that
are attached to the RAID controller card or attached via a USB storage device, e.g., USB external
hard drive or USB flash drives.

Note:

Installation configurations and prerequisites are dependent

upon your choice of Linux-based operating system. BT1
Security Appliances have been tested with SUSE Linux.

The installation methods are in the System Setup utility. Use the links below to go to the appropriate
