BT1 Security Appliance User Guide
3 BT1 Installation

Power Disconnection Warning

The system must be disconnected from all sources of power and the power cord

removed from the power supply before accessing the appliance interior to install or

remove system components.

To remove a hard drive assembly from an appliance, do the following:

Press the power button to power down the appliance. The appliance is powered down
when the LED is blue.

Disconnect the AC power cord. (The power button should NOT be illuminated.)

Disconnect all the signal cables.

Gently press on the hard drive push-push latch and release. The assembly handle

extends outward. See 3.16 -

Hard Drive Assembly Removal

Grasp the handle and gently pull the assembly out of the bay until the hard drive
connectors release.
