3.5.1 Powering Up an Appliance after a Power Outage

When a power outage occurs and the power is restored, the appliance will be in power down state,
power button red. If there are no error conditions indicated on the appliance and power is stable,
press the power button once. The button should illuminate yellow, then green once the power up
cycle is complete.

OR

At your console, start the IPMITool and issue the appropriate commands to set the appliance IP.
Then issue the

ipmitool chassis power on

command. The appliance should power on. The

power button should illuminate from blue to yellow to green once the power cycle is complete.

In an optional tray accessory installation, you will need to issue the

power on

command for both

appliances.
