Orient to match both AseptiQuik® connectors on the connecting lines.

Tightly press both AseptiQuik® connectors to an audible click.
TIP:
When properly mated, the latches at each end on the connector set flush.

Grip and pull out the tabs to remove the connector membranes.

Highlighted are the 2 latches on the connector that set flush when the connector is properly
mated.
Repeat the process to connect the media return line AseptiQuik® G connectors.

Place the connected lines in the bioreactor nest. Make sure to loop the tubing under the tray
ensuring that there are no kinks in the lines, especially in the segment from the T connector to
the FBR media inlet line.
The sterile connections between the MCV and FBR are now set up.
Continue setting up the FBR, return to Section 8.2.1.
8.2.2 Media Fill and Prime Phase
This section shows how to fill the MCV and begin bioreactor priming.
1. Fill the media addition bottle.
• Aseptically fill the media addition bottle in the biosafety cabinet.
• Securely tighten the media addition bottle. Ensure clamps on the media addition bottle are
closed prior to removal from the biosafety cabinet
• Place the media addition bottle in the bottle compartment next to the bar code scanner.
