CORN I NG ASCENT FBR PD SYSTEM

18. Place the bioreactor tray over the nest.

• Place the tray over the sterile connectors in the FBR nest.
• If using Lynx® connectors, check that they are still seated correctly in the brackets. If using

AseptiQuik® G connectors, check that the tubing is underneath the FBR nest to maximize

heat transfer.

19. Connect the temperature sensor.

Connect the FBR temperature sensor.

20. Unkink the tubing lines.

•  Check that the bioreactor is sitting upright in the holder and is not tilted.
•  Check for kinks in the tubing lines. Straighten out twists and kinks.
•  The consumables are now set up.
•  Return to the HMI for further instruction.

21. MFC and pumps turned off.

• A prompt will remind the user to complete setup, and to confirm that mass flow controllers

and pumps are turned off.

• Press



to confirm.

22. Zero Pressure Sensor.

Use the numbers on the images to perform the following steps:

1. Press the flashing green status box for the next prompt.
2. A prompt will remind the user to zero the pressure sensor.
3. Zero the sensor.
4. Press



when complete.

NOTE:

If pumps and mass flow controllers are not turned off, the pressure sensor zero button

will not appear.
