g) Settings for the internal siren
The following settings can be programmed for the ‘FAZ 3000-Z’ alarm base station’s internal built-
in siren (‘alarm transmitter’).
• Conditions for setting off the alarm
• Duration
• Signal duration when internal arming is confirmed
• Signal duration when external arming is confirmed
1. Conditions for setting off the alarm, changing the settings
The conditions for triggering the built-in siren in the alarm base station can be set in detail and,
dependent on the ‘disarmed’, ‘internally armed’ and ‘externally armed’ states.
Useful settings are already preset in the factory, however, you can change these settings to suit
your own personal requirements.
Table containing the factory settings for the ‘disarmed’ state:
‘Disarmed’ state
• It is not possible to trigger the internal siren for ‘internally armed’ and ‘externally armed’ because
of the current ‘disarmed’ state (each set to ‘-’)
• For safety reasons, if a smoke detector is triggered, the alarm is also set off via the internal
siren for the ‘disarmed’ state (set to ‘1’)
• For safety reasons, if a sabotage contact is triggered, the alarm is also set off via the internal
siren for the ‘disarmed’ state (set to ‘1’)
• For safety reasons, during an attack, the alarm is also set off via the internal siren for the ‘disarmed’
state (set to ‘1’)
