4. Modifying/checking sensor attributes
The sensor attributes ‘internal sensor yes/no’ and ‘closure group yes/no’ can also be modified
retrospectively (or the settings can be checked).
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘ Menü a/A ’ button on the operating unit of the ‘FAZ
3000-Z’ alarm base station.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.
The first sensor that was registered with the alarm base station is
displayed.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the sensor whose attributes you
wish to modify or check.
• Briefly press the ‘ OK ’ button. Afterwards you can change the attributes.
You can use the ‘ ’ button to set the sensor as an internal sensor

• By pressing the ‘ ’ button you can access the closure group settings
(the ‘ N ’ on the upper line is underlined. Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to change
the entry line).
• Using the ‘ ’ button you can select whether the sensor belongs to the
closure group (‘

• Once you have made the settings (or carried out a check), briefly press
the ‘ OK ’ button.
In the case of a door/window detector you now return to the sensor
list. Another sensor can be selected using the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons.
The response sensitivity setting is displayed for a PIR motion detector.
