5. Enter the alarm dialler’s access code (for remote control)
The alarm base station can be controlled remotely from outside via the alarm dialler and using a
telephone (‘disarmed’, ‘internally armed’ and ‘externally armed’ switching).

An access code is required to allow this remote control operation.
Make a note of the code and keep it in a safe place.
For information on how to operate the alarm dialler, please observe the alarm dialler’s
user manual.
Enter the access code as follows:
• You must be on the main level. The LCD should appear as on the right,
for example, with the time and the date.
• Briefly press the ‘ Menü a/A ’ button on the control unit of the ‘FAZ-Z’
alarm base station.
• Use the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons to select the ‘

• Confirm your selection by briefly pressing the ‘ OK ’ button.

• You can now use the number buttons to enter any four-digit code, for
example ‘1234’ or ‘9876’ and so on.
You can use the ‘ C ’ button to correct any incorrect entry you have
made.
• Pressing the ‘ OK ’ button applies the setting.
• Exit the menu by pressing the ‘ C ’ button twice. This returns you to the
normal display mode (main level).
