1. Scanning troubles (without scanning possible open contacts)
This scan is usually used, if you are at home and some windows are open. As, of course, every
open window is displayed as a ‘trouble’, you can hide/ignore these currently ‘unimportant’ trou-
bles.
• You are in the main menu. The LCD displays, for example, the time/date
display, which is illustrated here on the right.
• Briefly press the ‘ Menü a/A ’ button. The ‘

’ menu appears
on the LCD.
• Briefly press the ‘ OK ’ button. The display on the right appears, for example
(window in the living room is open).
• Press the ‘ unscharf ’ (disarm) button. The text ‘

appears briefly on the LCD (see right). Open windows are then ignored
(door/window detector contacts are open).
• Using the ‘ ’ and ‘ ’ buttons, the sensors, which exhibit troubles, can
be scanned separately in succession. The illustrated example on the
right shows a trouble with the PIR motion detector in a garage.
• You can use the ‘ ’ button to display the troubles for the selected sensor.
As you can see in the example on the right, it is obvious that the PIR motion
detector’s casing is open (sabotage contact is open).
An empty battery or a lost sensor contact is also shown at this position
(message: ‘

’).
• Remove the trouble, if necessary (check the sensor, insert new bat-
teries etc.).
• Return to the alarm base station and keep pressing the ‘ C ’ button until
you return to the alarm base station’s main menu.

’ appears on the LCD, then the trouble has been removed.
Otherwise check again, if and which other troubles are present.
