System Tab

Compro RS-3232 - User's Manual

• 

Sync (time):

 This will synchronize the system clock with that of your operating system.

• 

System sound:

 This will turn on / off the system sound.

• 

Auto scan:

 Allow you to enable/disable the Auto-Scan function, which makes ComproView® sequentially 

display the next channel in a split view. When the next channel has not been configured with camera 
connection, the next next channel will be pulled up instead. The number of seconds entered here 
dictates how long the split view dwells on current channel combination. In single channel view, the 
dwell time is decided by the value of “Auto Scan Duration” in the Camera tab.

• 

Even limited by:

 Cap the maximum number of records in the event log.

• 

Use Enhanced Video Renderer:

 This option is only accessible for Windows Vista and Windows 7 user.

User Interface Settings

• 

Normal / Hover / Focus / Alarm Color:

 This lets you customize the colors used in the user interface and 

the status they represent.

• 

Animation Effect:

 Check to enable the fly in / out animation when a window is opened / closed.

• 

Cloud UI:

 Check to switch to another style of user interface. In the Cloud UI, you can click on any menu 

item to change its setting.

Full Region Display:

 Check to make ComproView® occupy the entire section of your screen.

Main Panel (Left/Right):

 Change the position of ComproView® main panel.

Report Settings

• 

Schedule System Report:

 Enable or disable the scheduled system report function. Two pre-requisites 

must be met in order to send out system report successfully. First, you have to go to the "Alert" tab and 
set up a valid E-mail service. Second, you need to go to the "Schedule" tab and schedule a system reboot 
operation. After that, in the "System" tab, enter the sender and recipient information and subject for the 
system report E-mail. The following is an example of system report received via E-mail.
