Output Device Settings

• 

Name:

 Displays the name of device; rename it if necessary. 

• 

Type:

 Toggles between On and Off.

• 

Duration (Sec):

 Sets interval between different status.

• 

Test:

 Click to test if the alarm is working. 

• 

Status:

 Displays device status.

Alert Tab

The notifications (such as E-Mail, message) you configured in the Camera tab must also be configured in the 
Alert tab beforehand so the camera can send out notifications according to your settings once events are 
triggered.

E-mail Settings

• 

User Defined:

 The E-mail notification support many E-mail services that use SMTP protocol, such as 

GoogleMail and Hotmail. Select one service from the list to configure.

• 

Server:

 Enter the address of the E-mail server 

• 

Port:

 Default port number is 25.

• 

Authorization:

 If E-mail server requires authorization, check this option and then enter the necessary 

account information into the Name and Password field.

• 

SSL encryption:

 If the server supports the SSL encryption, you can check this option.

• 

Attach Snapshot:

 Enable this to attach a snapshot to the E-mail.

• 

From:

 Put in the sender E-mail address.

• 

To:

 Put in the recipient E-mail address.
