6. Replace the access panel.
7. Plug in the workstation and turn on power to the
workstation.
8. Reset the date and time, your passwords, and any special
system setups, using Compaq Computer Setup. Refer to
Chapter 2, “Software.”
If you normally lock the Smart Cover Lock, use Computer
Setup to relock the lock and enable the Smart Cover Sensor.
Removing the
Workstation Base
If necessary, you can remove the workstation base.
1. Shut down the operating system properly, then turn off
the workstation.
2. Lay the workstation on its side and remove the four
screws that secure the base to the bottom of the
workstation.
