Supported Operating Systems
To operate properly, your server must have a supported operating system. For
updated information on supported operating systems, log on to the Compaq
website:

For the latest information on Linux version and support, log on to the Compaq

CAUTION:
If your server has a factory-installed operating system, configure the
server using the instructions in the
Compaq Factory-Installed Operating System
Software Installation Guide
or data will be lost.
Drivers
The ProLiant ML330 Generation 2 server features new hardware that does not
have driver support on all operating system installation media. It is
recommended that you use SmartStart and its Assisted Path feature to install
your operating system and the latest driver support. If you do not use
SmartStart to install your operating system, drivers for some of the new
hardware are required. These drivers, as well as other option drivers, ROM
images, and value-add software can be downloaded from
