Installing the PPM for Processor 2

Each Intel Pentium III processor supplied by Compaq comes with a PPM
(DC-to-DC converter). The PPM must be installed into the slot adjacent to its
processor to provide power to that processor.

NOTE:

The PPM for Processor 1 is integrated on the system board.

Align the PPM with the PPM slot.

Slide the PPM into the slot

until the latches snap securely into

place
