Send event opt.
• Mains power fault delay
This menu is used to enter a delay before the recipients of the event report are notified of any mains power fault event. The
interval can be set between: 1~255 minutes.
◊ Set delay: used to enter a delay between 1 and 255 minutes, to be applied before a mains power fault is communicated.
If the mains power is restored before the delay period elapses, the report message will be cancelled.
◊ Set random delay: used to set the delay time as a random period between 15 and 30 minutes. This prevents an overload
of messages in the event of large blackout areas. The random delay can be enabled/disabled. If it enabled, it will replace
the time setting in the previous menu.
• Periodic test
This menu is used to set the configuration for the event report periodic tests. The periodic test is considered an event to be
communicated to the selected recipients, like all other events. The recipients who receive periodic test messages should
therefore be configured in the event signalling settings menu.
◊ Test interval: this menu entry is used to set the time interval between consecutive tests.
◊ Test start: this menu is used to set the date and time of the first test to send.
◊ Send IP attempt timeout: this menu entry is used to set the timeout before attempting to send an IP report again (see
standard DC-09).
◊ No.of IP attempts: this menu is used to set the number of attempts to apply for IP reporting based on standard DC-09.
• Manual test
This menu is used to select which recipients will be made available in the “Communications test” user menu. Enabled recipients
can be tested manually here, via the “Communications test” user menu.
◊ Select recipient
• Call sequence
This menu is used to select a call sequence framework which should be adopted by the reporting system. The possible options
are as follows:
- 1234-1234
- 1-12-13-14
- 1-12-123-1234
- 1-12-23-34
The four possible frameworks show how calls will be processed by the system.
• Contact prior.
This menu is used to reassign the priority of recipients based on installer requirements. Each recipient is saved in the control
panel memory with a progressive ID which also acts as a call priority order in the system signalling process. The menu entry
“Recipient priority” allows the installer to reassign the ID number based on the report call priority that should be observed. This
means that recipients can be added to the control panel without a specific order, as they can be arranged later using this menu.
◊ Select recipient (1-32)
This menu is used to select the contact that needs to be moved from the list of contacts.
- Set new position
This menu is used to reassign a position (ID number) in the list of contacts. The Up/Down arrows are used to select the
new position; “ENTER” is used to confirm this new position.
• No.of attempts
This menu is used to set the number of times a report call cycle should be repeated if there is no answer. It can be set up to 5.
Default: 1
• ContactID events
◊ [Event group 1-X] codes
- Event group X: Event 1(-X) code
This menu is used to edit the CID code sent to the alarm receiving centre for the selected event.
