ZONE TYPE
TYPE DESCRIPTION
Not used
The programmed input is not used. It will not trigger any zone alarms or tampering.
Alarm
This zone type generates an instant alarm if it is violated while the system is armed. It also triggers sounder
activation for the time specified in the relevant menu.
Enter / Exit 1
Normally used for the main entry/exit door. The zone can be violated during the exit delay without causing
a “Failure” event. Once the system/area has been armed, zone activation will start the “Entry delay 1” time
program for the selected area. This zone type can only activate an alarm if the exit time has elapsed.
Enter / Exit 2
Normally used for another entry/exit door which requires a different entry delay, for example Back door,
garage door, etc. The zone can be activated during exit mode without causing a “Failure” event. Once the
system/area has been armed, zone activation will start the “Entry delay 2” time program for the selected
area.
Normally used for detection devices along the entry/exit route. This zone type allows the user to move past
the sensor without causing a “Fail to arm” event during the exit time, or an intruder alarm during the entry
time; nevertheless, the zone will instantly generate an intruder alarm if activation occurs at any other time.
Light 1
After the zone is programmed, an output number must be programmed, such as exit light 1 in the exit menu.
This only applies to wired outputs.
Light 2
After the zone is programmed, an output number must be programmed, such as exit light 1 in the exit menu.
This only applies to wired outputs.
Blind Up
The first pulse will activate the relevant output for the programmed time. The second pulse will stop the
output before the time has elapsed. This only applies to wired outputs.
Blind Down
The first pulse will activate the relevant output for the programmed time. The second pulse will stop the
output before the time has elapsed. This only applies to wired outputs.
Macro
This zone can be used as a macro initiator: it is used to activate a Macro if the activation event corresponds
to a zone.
Fire door
When the system is disarmed, these zones activate just one previously programmed output. For this reason,
during the programming of this type of zone, an output number will be required and therefore an alarm
during the day can be reset by entering a disarming command. If the system is armed, activation is as for
an instant alarm zone.
Act
This type of zone can be configured with suitable attributed and used as an activator zone.
Auxiliary al.
This zone type causes an alarm if it is activated while the system/area is armed or disarmed. The control
panel will send an auxiliary alarm signal to the alarm receiving centre.
