INSTALL THE MOUNTING BASE PLATE
After all ground posts are in place, plumb, and secure,
install a base plate in the open top of each ground post
as shown below.
ATTENTION:
Do not secure the base plates to the
ground posts until the rafter is attached. This allows for
the minor adjustment of the angle of the mounting plate
in the event that the ground posts are not evenly set.
Continue with the Sidewall Framing installation
procedure.
ATTENTION!
The frame diagrams throughout these instructions
show
the full ground posts
. As you use the diagrams for
reference and to assemble the arena, keep in mind that
these ground posts are set in the ground four feet (4').
Sidewall framing and the gate will be at or near ground
level when installed properly,
which is a view that is not
shown in the diagrams
.
ASSEMBLE THE SIDE WALL FRAMING
Once the ground posts are set, the side wall frame
between the ground posts is installed.
ABOUT THE GATE:
The gate of the arena is assembled
differently and includes different pipe. The procedure to
assemble and install the gate is described near the end
of these instructions and
before
the main cover is
installed.
Consult the Side Frame Diagram and the
