INSTALL THE COVER CONDUIT
The cover conduit is inserted into a pocket that runs
around the cover in the cover skirt. See the dashed line
in the photo below. The conduit lengths are connected
using 1.66" cover conduit couplers (see arrows).
INSTALLING A SECTION OF CONDUIT ABOVE THE
GATE OPENING IS OPTIONAL AND DEPENDS ON
WHAT THE SHELTER IS USED FOR.
See dashed line
in the diagram below. These instructions do not install
this section of the cover conduit.
Complete the following steps:
1. Using one 190P0795 plain pipe (79 ½") and one
190S099 swaged pipe (99") for each conduit,
assemble all cover conduits.
2. Secure each joint with two Tek screws and tape over
the joint and screws using the supplied duct tape.
3.
BEGINNING AT EITHER SIDE OF THE GATE
, feed
one cover conduit into the cover pocket.
ATTENTION:
Additional help is needed when feeding
the conduit into each pocket.
4. Once all cover conduits are in place, insert a cover
coupler (60DA166C) to connect the conduit
sections. See the following diagram.
Cover has been removed to show the components.
5. With all couplers installed (see above), verify that the
conduit and coupler assembly is centered in the
cover pocket and secure each coupler to each
conduit using two Tek screws. See diagram above.
6. Measure the length needed to reach from the lower
QH1065 ratchet to the coupler and back to the lower
ratchet and cut a section of 2" yellow strap from the
bulk roll. DO NOT CUT THE STRAP TOO LONG.
DOING SO MAY RESULT IN TOO MUCH WASTE.
7. Take the strap, wrap it around the conduit coupler,
and thread both ends into the QH1065 ratchet.
8. Slightly tighten the strap and repeat the steps to cut
and install the remaining 2" straps. Work your way
around the shelter and evenly tighten the straps.
NOTE:
Recheck all straps and tighten if needed. The
yellow strap will stretch over the upper ratchet.
9. After the main cover is stretched and secured, install
the side panels (optional). (To purchase optional
side panels, contact Customer Service at 1-800-245-
9881.)
