Contacts
The Contacts application provides you with an
address book. Contact information can be used
in the Navigation and E-Mail applications.

Displaying the Summary Screen

On the Home screen, tap the [Contacts]
key.
This displays the name list screen.
NOTE
•
In the Car mode, tap
on the Home
screen Application launcher to start up the
Contacts application.
•
Tapping the [Sort By First Name] (Sort By
Last Name) key toggles the name list
between first name and last name sorting.
•
The language setting is not applied to the
Contacts application when switching on the
Control Panel [Language] key. To apply
language setting to the Contacts application,
you must switch the setting on the Navigation
application. For details, see 6-6-4

Tap the [Add contact] key.
This displays a software keyboard.

Enter names in last name, first name
sequence, finalizing the input of each name
by tapping
.
This displays the Summary screen.
Contact record information (name, address,
phone number, e-mail address, other) can
be edited on the Summary screen.
The following describes the functions of the
toolbar at the bottom of this screen.
WARNING
• For safety reasons, do not perform any
operations while driving.
Doing so can take your mind off the road
and create the risk of a traffic accident.
Always stop your vehicle in a safe place
before operating the unit.
Navigate to
When the record includes a
street address, tap this key to
start up navigation with the
address as the destination, to
search for a route and to obtain
guidance to the objective.
Calling
This unit does not use this
function.
Send e-mail
When the record includes an
e-mail address, tapping this key
starts up the E-Mail application.
Edit contact
Edits the currently displayed
record name.
Delete
Deletes the currently displayed
record.
