The battery pack will not
charge.
The car adapter, AC adapter, or optional
Car Dock (NK1U) is not connected
correctly.
Connect the applicable device
correctly.
The battery indicator is flashing orange.
•
Check if the battery pack is
installed properly.
•
Charge the battery pack within
the charging temperature range
of 50
°
F to 95
°
F (10
°
C to 35
°
C).
•
In order to protect the battery
pack, charging may not be
possible after the battery pack
becomes hot due to long
continuous use or because the
battery was left in direct sunlight
even though the temperature is
within this range. In this case,
turn off the unit and wait until the
interior temperature cools down.
When it cools down, charging
starts. (Indicator lights orange)

The battery is broken or has
deteriorated due to length of use,
etc. Replace the battery pack.
Contact the service location
indicated on the Clarion portal
site (my.clarion.com). See the
“Support” or “Inquiries” section.
The plug is inserted into the headphone
jack.
Check to make sure that the plug is
inserted securely in the charge jack.
The unit does not start up.
(The message such as
“Disk I/O error...” or “Disk
error” appears on the
screen. The start-up
screen does not appear.)
USB memory is connected.
Remove the USB memory and restart
the unit.
The system does not start
up.
There are too many applications running. Use the
key on the status
indicator at the top of the screen to
select the applications you are not
using and then tap
to exit them.
Nothing works.
Press the reset button to restart the
system.
