Blanking Panel for AC Power-Fan Module Slot

Removing a Power-Fan Module Blanking Panel

To remove a blanking panel, perform the following procedure:

Step 1

Ground yourself using an approved ground wrist strap.

Step 2

Unfasten the two captive screws on the blanking panel, using a Phillips or straight-slot screwdriver.

Step 3

Hold the pull handle and pull the blanking panel toward you until it completely disengages from the
chassis.

Caution

Never operate the Cisco SFS 3504 Server Switch with a vacant AC power-fan module slot.
