Unexporting Storage
You can choose to unexport pieces of the storage currently exported to the
network.You can only unexport storage that has not yet been used.
To unexport a piece of storage:
STEP 1
From the Master device, delete any RAID arrays associated with the storage you
want to unexport. See
”Deleting an Array” on page 11
STEP 2
Display the
Configuration Interface
for the slave device that contains the storage
you want to unexport.
STEP 3
From the
Manager Menu
, click
Storage
Virtualization
.
The
Storage Virtualization
page appears.
STEP 4
Click
Unexport
for the device you want to release from the network.
The disk drive(s) or array no longer appears in the
Currently Exported Storage
list. It now appears in the
Export a device
list and is again available for use.
