Configuring Ethernet CFM
Configuring SNMP Traps
To configure traps for Ethernet CFM, perform this task:
Use the
no
form of each command to remove a configuration or to return to the default settings.
The following example illustrates how to configure SNMP traps:
Switch(config)#
snmp-server enable traps ethernet cfm alarm
Switch(config)#
snmp-server enable traps ethernet cfm cc mep-down
Switch(config)#
snmp-server enable traps ethernet cfm crosscheck mep-missing
Configuring Fault Alarms
To configure Ethernet CFM fault alarms, perform this task.
Note
You can configure fault alarms in either global configuration or Ethernet CFM interface MEP mode.
When a conflict exists, the interface MEP mode configuration takes precedence.
