8.5.2 Image-synchronous operating point adjustment on the object (ROI)
The image-synchronous operating point adjustment can only be used in area scan operating
mode.
If the object has an area which is suitable as reference for the operating point, this area can be
set in the allPIXA pro camera as an ROI (Region of Interest). The allPIXA camera evaluates
the brightness of the respective channels in this range and compares the results with a
programmable set value. The amplification values for each color channel are automatically
adjusted.

NOTE I
This mode requires an frame trigger signal at the allPIXA pro camera. The
frame trigger can be provided by CC1 through the Camera Link or by the IO
port. The allPIXA pro camera must be operated in frame scan mode. Gain
control must be set to image synchronized mode.
NOTE II
In image-synchronized mode, the behavior of the closed-loop control is slower
than in free-running mode.
