To Remove:

1.  Remove the drive belt from the pulleys.
2.  Remove the A/C drive belt from the pulleys.
3.  Remove the cooling fan and starter from the engine.
4.  Install a J 42386-A flywheel holding tool onto the flywheel. Torque the bolt to

37 ft-

lb (50 Nm)

5. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt from the crankshaft balancer.

Crankshaft balancer removal

6. crankshaft end protector into the end of the crankshaft and remove the crankshaft

balancer.
